The Center for Media Freedom & Responsibility (CMFR) programs focus on human rights particularly press freedom, free expression, and now, given the rapid development of the World Wide Web — Internet freedom. CMFR wants to participate/engage in such forums that examine press freedom and free expression in the Internet age. We are very interested to understand the technology infrastructure and Internet freedom initiatives and their implications/potentials for community involvement and development. Of course CMFR, along with other groups, aims to further press freedom and free expression on the Internet.
