Donja joined the team in August 2013, assisting with GPD’s projects aimed at strengthening a free and open internet through policy and governance interventions. She also provides research and editorial support on various publications related to human rights on the internet, and the strengthening of local civil society voices in the internet governance debate. Donja completed a MSc in Democracy and Democratization at the University College London and holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Bonn. Her studies focused on comparative Government analysis and the domestic power balance of governmental bodies. Before GPD, she gained experience as an intern in the German Federal Agency for Civic Education and the UNESCO International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training. She is fluent in English and German and has basic knowledge of Spanish.
