KUDDLE
CEO
OSLO -Norway - CALIFORNIA, Usa
Hi,

I am Ole Vidar Hestaas, Founder and CEO of Kuddle, the new Norwegian SoMe-app, launched 7th of august, called Instagram for kids around the world and already in a massive growth.

The SoMe- App was created by a real need advised by; Save The Children, Red Cross, the Norwegian Police, Norwegian Media authority and ICT-Norway.

Kuddle is an innovative photo sharing social media app designed for kids of all ages. Kuddle aims to create a fun and safer digital environment where children can learn about and explore the ever expanding world of social media.

By adding parent-control, remove comment possibilities and make it closed for non friends enhance knowledge about responsible digital sharing by combining elements of education and entertainment.

We claim, based on scientifiic documentation, that a child who learn proper online behaviour, before the age of 10 - will morally build this into its subconscious.

In essence: EDUTAINMENT.

I/we want to meet and discuss our aim of a “safer” e-environment for children to start learning about the world of social media and online sharing. We want to make systems and habits for preventing cyber-bullying and we need all the feedback and help we can get.

Please read this exiting review and Techchrunch article:

PS! By no means do we claim to be the solution or the “safest” app out there, but we have tried to create a more educational and fun “alternative” for younger, curious users that would like to have a platform to express their views and share their creativity. Of course, some kids may try to “cheat the system” in order to gain access to Kuddle, but this is something that is beyond our control. We can only hope that kids, in dialogue with their parents, will go through the process of learning about, and use, social media together.

We’d like to ensure that we’ve gone through the appropriate legal channels to ensure that we are indeed COOPA compliant for the US market

Kind regards,
Ole Vidar Hestaas
