My PhD examines whether copyright restrictions on education can constitute a violation of the right to education under the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. I am also the co-founder of Qanoon.om - a website that aims to take make legislation data in Oman available on the internet for free in an accessible format. I am on study leave for a few years from being a lawyer at the Ministry of Legal Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman.
