Satish Babu is the Director of the International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS), Trivandrum, India, He is a former President of the Computer Society of India (CSI), and is active in IEEE Computer Society (Vice Chair-Awards and Recognition 2014) and ICANN (Member 2014 & 2015 NomCom, and Vice Chair of APRALO). He has been attending IGF since 2009, and was also a participant of NetMundial at Sao Paulo.
