I am director for Policies and Strategies in the field of Communication and Information at UNESCO. I work with colleagues on UNESCO's report "World Trends on Freedom of Expression and Media Development", and taking forward UNESCO Member States' agreement to the concept of Internet Universality, including the Internet Universality Indicators underway or completed already in 21 countries.  My work also encompasses freedom of expression and access to information, online and offline.
