Claudio Contini is Telecom Italia Digital Solutions’ CEO, in charge of addressing the relevant opportunities created by the development of the digital economy (IoT, Cloud Transformation, Security, Identity, Analytics).

Claudio  started his career in 1989 at SIP, the former Italian telecommunications monopolist, followed by participating in the early development of BT’s (formerly British Telecom) Italian branch. In 1994, he joined Telecom Italia with increasing responsibilities, from assistant to the head of the corporate division to marketing director for the business segment: in this role, he also started the development of Telecom Italia’s IT offering. Then, he moved to Sales, where in the last five years held various senior management positions as Sales VP for the business division. Claudio is  also member of the board of directors in several Telecom Italia’s companies.

Claudio, 50 and married with two children, holds an Electrical Engineering Degree from the University La Sapienza in Rome and a Master’s Degree in Engineering and Economics from Stanford University, USA.
