Manal Ismail is Executive Director for International Technical Coordination at the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt.  Mrs. Ismail has led GAC discussions and input to the IDN ccTLDs Fast Track process, co-chaired IDNC WG on Fast Track, and participated to the ccNSO IDN ccPDP WG1 on policy for selection and delegation of IDN ccTLDs.  She has contributed to early script community efforts on IDNs through the Arabic Script IDN WG (ASWIG).  She is member of the League of Arab States WG on Domain Names, has been involved in setting up an Arabic domain names test bed and in the delegation and launch of Egypt’s Arabic ccTLD.
